18 FEBRUARY Sunday Service
This Sunday Jason will be continuing our February series Encounters with Jesus. All welcome!
Jason says: “There are boundaries everywhere! And boundaries are often tricky to cross. For example, crossing boundaries into a new country can have many hurdles. Crossing boundaries onto other people’s properties can be risky, especially if they have a dog! Perhaps the trickiest of all boundaries are personal. These can be like land mines. We can say something that we think is innocent to someone and suddenly that person becomes defensive, angry and upset. It can be hard to navigate the relationships in our lives. However, sometimes boundaries have to be crossed for the sake of the other person, a risk has to be taken even if that means the relationship is affected. And a risk must be taken especially when salvation is at stake. Come along Sunday to hear more.“
16 FEBRUARY – Friday Youth
Friday Night Youth is having an Epic Continuous Games Night this week, which will involve heaps of games played at super-speeds in 5 minute intervals! Come along from 7.30-9.30pm at the church, after the Year 11s and upwards have had their session in the Shed at 5.30pm.

25 FEBRUARY – AGM
Members – we are having our Annual General Meeting of registered members, Sunday 25 February straight after morning tea, to hear how Parky went in the year that was and to vote on the budget for the year to come.
25 FEBRUARY – Youth Fundraiser Sausage Sizzle
The Youth will be cranking up the barbeque again for another sausage sizzle fundraiser after the Sunday service on 25 February before the AGM. So hang around for morning tea and a delicious hotdog whilst supporting our church youth.
01 MARCH – World Day of Prayer
The World Day of Prayer is an international initiative run under the motto “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action,” and celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March. The local hills service will be held this year at Sacred Heart Church in Mundaring on 01 March. Check out www.worlddayofprayeraustralia.org for more info or speak to Josephine van Voorthuizen.
PARKY COMMUNITY PANTRY OPENING TIMES
The community pantry opening hours for Term 1 are as follows:
- Tue 11.45am-1.30pm (the pantry will open at 11.45am for conversations after the Village, however the food won’t actually be delivered until approx 12.30pm)
- Wed 11.15am-3pm
Please note that for health & safety reasons, people will need to remain in the undercover carport area until after staff have finished unloading food, as it’s becoming too chaotic (and a little dangerous) backing cars and shifting boxes with people and kids everywhere whilst trying to unload!
