Far & Wide is the cross-cultural missions and social justice arm of Parkerville Baptist Church. Our ministry Far & Wide is in response to Jesus’ command to “Go and make disciples of all the nations” as well as the Bible’s teaching regarding the poor and marginalised: “Let justice roll on like a river”. The strategic goal of Far & Wide is to “…actively partner with people and agencies joined in God’s global mission and become increasingly involved in championing justice.” The two major areas of focus for Far & Wide are cross-cultural evangelism and social justice/aid and development.
