We're back into our sermon series on the Seven Churches of Revelation. Anthony says: "We are back into our SEVEN churches series this Sunday & we will explore the Church of Thyatira, a community situated in a thriving trade hub known for its many associations & skilled artisans. Thyatira was a centre of economic activity, however faced significant spiritual challenges, as worldly influences threatened to dilute its faith. The Church of Thyatira has the most written to it out of all the seven churches & we will see that there is a lot that they are commended for, yet they are warned about the dangers of compromising their beliefs. As we unpack this powerful message, we’ll discover what it means to stand firm in our faith, resist cultural pressures, & embody the love of Christ in a complex world."
