Jason brings us the latest message in our sermon series on Nehemiah. Jason says: "This week we are looking at Nehemiah, Chapter 5. So far there have been external forces opposing the building of the wall around Jerusalem, but now strife enters the community. The poor cry out against the wealthy & governing authorities. “The interest rates are too high”, “food is too expensive”, “The taxes are too high” & “We have taken out loans on our property to survive”. It sounds like Nehemiah is talking about modern-day Australia! What does this mean for us? What are we to think? How are we to act?"
