Anthony says, "Hey everyone! This Sunday, we're diving into the fifth church in our Seven Churches from Revelation series, the church at Sardis. Sardis is often called the "dead church", & it's a wake-up call for all of us. They had a great reputation but had fallen into a rut, they had become complacent. The dictionary defines complacent as “A feeling of quiet pleasure or security, often while unaware of some potential danger, defect, or the like; self-satisfaction or smug satisfaction with an existing situation, condition, etc.” What happens when a church becomes complacent? Looking forward to unpacking what it means to stay awake & be alive in our relationship with Jesus.” Bible References: Revelation 3:1-6 More Messages from Anthony Palmieri | Download Audio Rodney Entwistle 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, Psalms 11:1-7, 2 Corinthians 5:7Share a Link to this Message
