Anthony will be bringing us the next message in our sermon series on the Seven Churches of Revelation this week. Anthony says, "Hey everyone! This Sunday, we're diving into the fifth church in our Seven Churches from Revelation series, the church at Sardis. Sardis is often called the "dead church", & it's a wake-up call for all of us. They had a great reputation but had fallen into a rut, they had become complacent. The dictionary defines complacent as “A feeling of quiet pleasure or security, often while unaware of some potential danger, defect, or the like; self-satisfaction or smug satisfaction with an existing situation, condition, etc.” What happens when a church becomes complacent? Looking forward to unpacking what it means to stay awake & be alive in our relationship with Jesus.”
