Here Comes the King
This Palm Sunday we're hearing from Dave Spencer who will be speaking to us from his message entitled Here Comes the King, from Matthew 21:1-11. Dave says; "This weekend we celebrate Palm Sunday. Jesus has come to Jerusalem, and the citizens turn out in their masses to celebrate Jesus as God's anointed King and Messiah. By the end of the week, these are the same people who turn on Jesus and call for his death, but for now, he is God's chosen one. Miracle worker, healer of the sick... God's King who will free Israel. Who is Jesus for you? Jesus has many titles and roles: Emmanuel (God with us), saviour, friend, Son of God, God incarnate (made flesh), High Priest, prophet, teacher, King. What does it mean that Jesus is King? And as King, what is his Kingdom? Where is his Kingdom? Come along this Sunday to find out more!"
